"Silent Fields" is an exposé on the power industry. This health issue has the potential to dwarf the cigarette smoking and asbestos issues together.

Dr Thomas Erren stated in 1997 that there are more epidemiological studies that link cancer to electromagnetic fields than environmental tobacco smoke.

This subject caused Dr Robert O. Becker (twice nominated for a Nobel Prize for his work on the topic) to state in 1990 that it is quite possible that chronic exposure to these fields is a COMPETENT CAUSE for the ORIGIN of CANCERS which was compatible with statistical data.
