This work focuses on the ideas and inventions of Austrian forest custodian and inventor Viktor Schauberger (1885–1958). Again, these have been expertly and sensitively translated, compiled, edited and introduced by Callum Coats, who has spent decades researching Schauberger's work. This volume follows on from "The Water Wizard" and "Nature as Teacher".
Schauberger's writings collected in the third volume, "The Fertile Earth", emphasise nature's subtle energies and their correct use in agriculture, soil fertilisation and forestry. By observing nature's forces and energies in action, Schauberger learned her secrets and came to understand what happens when the delicate balance is overstepped by unenlightened human interference. He applied his knowledge to improving soil fertility and increasing productivity in harmony with the Earth, and his practical advice is applicable in farm and forestry management today.
